MCP server
Connect Claude and other AI assistants to yabby via the Model Context Protocol — create websites, add channels, and curate videos in plain language.
yabby ships a built-in MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Connect it to Claude, Cursor, or any other MCP-capable assistant and you can manage your websites conversationally: "Create a site for my channel, add the channel, hide all Shorts older than a year, and feature my three best videos."
The MCP server exposes the same capabilities as the REST API and uses the same workspace API keys.
Connect
The server speaks the modern Streamable HTTP transport at:
https://www.yabby.page/api/mcpAuthenticate with an API key from Workspace Settings → API, passed as a Bearer token.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http yabby https://www.yabby.page/api/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer yabby_your_api_key"Claude Desktop / other clients (config JSON):
{
"mcpServers": {
"yabby": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://www.yabby.page/api/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer yabby_your_api_key"
}
}
}
}Cursor (.cursor/mcp.json) uses the same url + headers shape.

What to try
- "Set up a website for the channel «my channel name» and publish it." — the assistant searches the channel, creates the site, adds the channel, waits for the sync, and publishes.
- "Which of my videos have the most views? Feature the top 3."
- "Get the transcript of my latest video and draft a newsletter from it."
- "Hide every video with «livestream» in the title."
Security notes
- A connected assistant can do everything the key allows — including deleting websites. Destructive tools tell the assistant to confirm with you first, but the ultimate control is the key itself.
- Rate limits apply per key (120 requests/minute), shared with the REST API.
- Revoke the key in the dashboard to cut off access instantly.
