Teams & organizations
Invite team members to your organization and manage who can do what.
Every website in yabby belongs to an organization. When you sign up, an organization is created for you automatically — you're its owner. You can rename it, add a logo, and invite other people to work with you, all from the organization settings.
This means you never have to share your password. If someone else helps run your site — an editor, a video assistant, a co-host — invite them to your organization and they get their own login with access to your websites.
Inviting team members
Invitations are sent by email. The person you invite gets a link to an accept page; once they accept (signing up first if they don't have a yabby account yet), they join your organization.
Open your organization settings from the dashboard.
Go to the members section and choose to invite a member.
Enter their email address and pick a role (admin or member).
Send the invitation. It appears in your pending invitations list until they accept.
You can revoke a pending invitation at any time before it's accepted.
Roles
Each member has one of three roles:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything — including billing, organization settings, and deleting the organization. |
| Admin | Manage the organization and its members, and edit websites. |
| Member | Edit websites and content, but not organization settings or billing. |
As a rule of thumb: give member to anyone who just needs to work on the site, and reserve admin for people who should also manage the team.
Removing members
Owners and admins can remove a member from the members list in organization settings. The removed person immediately loses access to the organization's websites — nothing on the sites themselves changes.
Danger zone
Organization settings include a danger zone where the owner can delete the entire organization, including its websites. This can't be undone, so tread carefully.
A common setup
A typical use case: you're a creator and a virtual assistant or editor keeps your site tidy. Invite them as a member — they can curate which videos appear, adjust playlists, and update pages, while billing and organization settings stay with you.
